MY STORY

Hey! I’m Raa’na. I AM a mixed media Artist based in Long Beach, California.

I’ve always been a crafty creator at heart, my artistic journey began in Mumbai, India where I grew up in the 80’s. I loved to explore various crafts and art mediums and was encouraged by my parents and one very artistically talented cousin. I have many pleasant childhood memories of us getting into all kinds of crafts and taking art lessons together.

Adolescence was a gray period for my artistic proclivities. I set it all aside due to some limiting beliefs and stories about myself “not being good” so why bother at all. Whoowee! A dark time for artistic creative expression in my life. My magic hands brought things back on track by young adulthood, as I began doodling and dabbling in creative expressions again! The beginning of a path back to my authentic self.

Following my intuitive nudges and divine guidance, In 2018 I began exploring with Acrylic paints and mixed media. I took some classes and gained some

skills to assist with the anchoring of divine frequencies into art. This was and is a deeply healing and creative outlet for me to tap into and led to exciting and eye opening realms of color frequency, other mediums and even more creativity and healing.

In August of 2021 I unexpectedly hopped on a Magical Mystery express into the wondrous world of Epoxy Resin! Oh the endless possibilities!! I absolutely adore this medium and am having the most joyous time expressing myself creatively this way. It has opened doors to many new mediums and techniques.

I love to share joy and uplift the energy of beings and spaces through my art and thus Touch Of Light Arts was born!

I AM a mother to two sweet, creative, souls, a partner to my dear beloved and a Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master, holding healing space for many clients and students in my local and global communities. My love for the mystical, cosmic, traveling the earth and bridging etheric realms is channeled in my artwork and each piece is lovingly infused with Reiki to uplift all spaces they inhabit.

I AM passionate about awakening the inner healer in each of us and reminding us that being creative and creating any form of art is a natural result of being balanced and our innate birthright.
